Teaches a Client to Play Tennis

1.   Control of the Racquet

2.   The 3 Vital Things      —       Technique.

3.   The 5 Basic Strokes

4.   Combine the Strokes

Check for backhand drive grip change;
Check for correct volley shape (not low to high) when moving from ground strokes to
volleys;
Check for grip on forehand to backhand volley (no reverse forehand volleying).

5.   The Half-Volley        —            Practise the timing

6.   Movement

7.   Rallying and Basic Positional Play
Ensure that the good ground work previously covered is not lost here.

Stage 2
      

Moving from Recreational Standard to Top Club/County level

1.   Add Spin        —       Forehand & Backhand Drive, Serve.

2.   Singles & Doubles Tactics

3.   Advanced Positional Play

4.   Mental Game

5.   Fitness

6.   Add some Strokes      —      Slice,   topspin serve   and   drop shot.

7.   Shot selection

8.   Footwork         —      Jump and 2 speeds moving.
