THE STRUCTURE OF THE
ADULT COACHING PROGRAMME

Stage 1.

Beginner Tennis Courses

For all beginners or near beginners:

Courses are ideal for the complete beginner or player wishing to learn the correct technique for the 5 basic strokes of the game:

Courses are held periodically throughout the year:

Please give your name and telephone number to a Penenden Heath Tennis Academy Coach to be included in the next course:

Courses are 6 hours in length usually held over a 6 week period:

Payment is made in advance for the course:

All equipment can be provided

Stage 2

Adult Squads

For all adults who have at least an understanding of the basics in tennis:

An Adult Squad consists of  up to 10 players (although it is usually 8 or less players), who prefer group coaching to the more expensive private tuition:

Adult squads meet at the same time once a week, to improve their tennis:

All aspects of tennis are taught, however, the emphasis is more on technique, strategy, and doubles play:

Players are placed into a squad according to their standard and technical ability. Please see below:

Squad B = for players who can rally to each other and are starting to learn good strategy whilst developing better strokes;

Squad A = for players who play well but are learning game plans, speciality strokes and how to win at doubles:

Payment is made each time you attend - you will receive a rules slip at your first session:

I hope this will help you to understand how the Adult Programme works.

Please call me if you have any questions about the programme, or where best your child fits in.
