PHTA has 6 all weather tarmacadam tennis courts which have been resurfaced and repainted since 2007. They are all coloured two tone green, making it easier to see the lines and the court area. Four of the courts are floodlit to between county & international lighting standard. Coaching, joining in singles or doubles practice sessions, regular singles matches, or just hiring a court for yourself are all available. Astro turf style trainers with protruding pimples or studded soles are NOT permitted on the courts. These shoes are both dangerous for the wearer, especially when it is damp, and damaging to the court surface. Tennis shoes, flat bottomed soled trainers or plimsolls should be worn.
